Vision in the Enterprise

It all starts with a vision, but how strong and clear is your organisations, your business units or divisions? Are they aligned or are they fuzzy and seem to change every couple of years following another round of consultancy? Lets look at the importance of having a clear vision….

Developing a strategy on how to deliver this target vision is a little like booking a holiday without knowing the destination.

When asked to look at this, i often look at the strategy and how it is being delivered then reverse engineer what i think the vision is – when presented back it can be quite shocking to the leadership.

So if you think you have a vision then ask someone to quickly look at the strategy and what is going on then try and guess the vision – you may be surprised…
